If you think of fast food interiors as cheap places get ready to change your mind and take a look at Wishbone. Located in London’s Brixton district, between Meat Market and Brixton Market, the restaurant serves fried chicken in a glamour interior, thanks to Shed design’s project. The place features two floors, for either a quick snack on the ground floor or a proper restaurant service upstairs.
Wishbone: fried chicken turns glamour
An unexpected fast food by Shed design
Colors and graffiti takes over the walls of the restaurant adding a vintage feel, bringing customers away from London’s frenzy. Every wall features hand painted graffiti by Paintshop Studio artists, perfectly matching wood and metal furniture as well as the concrete floor. The lower floor features a big wood counter surrounded by stools for a quick lunch break, as well as a multicolor staircase going upstairs, where the restaurant area is characterized by a relaxing atmosphere with Sixties-style chairs and zinc-plated steel stools. Scott Collins, from MEATLiquor, and William Leigh created a fried-chicken-mecca where anyone can take a break in a colorful stylish environment.
