Sometimes art looks like a joyful game: that’s what happens when architect and designer Marcantonio Raimondi Malerba creates his works by turning raw materials into something spectacular. Rocks, crystals and such things become the inspiration to create nature-themed interiors. Thus, he created three projects: Ugo Cacciatori’s showroom, Sending Animals and Officina 49Ugo Cacciatori’s showroom has been designed to emphasizes the jewels displayed in it. For this purpose the interior is very neat and linear, made of marble, wood, iron and concrete whose combination creates a perfect minimalistic space that hosts gold, silver and gem stones perfectly. A refined showroom characterized by the one upside-down marble cube in the administrative office.

Sending Animals presents pieces of furniture made of packing case material reminding of animals silhouettes. A sort of play with the Absurd to suggest the idea of dispatching animals themselves. Night tables, bookshelves and other pieces of furniture are here aimed at studying the relationship between human beings and animals in a pretty ironical way.
Thanks to the collaboration with Seletti S.P.A this pieces are now displayed in several shopping-windows around the world. Officina 49 is a club in Cesena characterized by sort of a punk style. The designer has created a low-budget interior by employing in a very creative way various recycled materials such as iron and wood as well as many scavenger pieces.
