The doors of the tenth edition of the much-awaited San Francisco Design Week closed on Thursday June 8. For 10 years already, the festival has been turning the whole area of the renowned Bay into the core of design and modernization. Organized by local designers association AIGA San Francisco, the event – which started on June 2 – focused on the magical, solid and curious appeal of the Bay in terms of innovation: from San Francisco to the famous Silicon Valley, this area stands for design and most of all for global technological progress.

With the motto “There’s Just Something About the Bay”, the 2016 edition of San Francisco Design Week entertained the public with a wide range of on-topic happenings that involved any discipline around design, from graphic design to communication, thanks to the participation of many guest stars (designers, influencers, entrepreneurs and so on) that contributed to create a unique dialogue and debate around our contemporary means of expression. This also led to an educational result that engaged not only professionals and design lovers but also youngsters, as proved by the Enrichment Scholarship initiative, which awarded the most worthy projects by the students of California's uni community. Thanks to its rich program and to the undeniable passion of its organizers, the tenth edition of San Francisco Design Week proved to be the ultimate appointment with the future.
