On the occasion of the 2015 design week in Milan, Assodel and LedLab, in collaboration with TID, promote an unmissable event that serves as a showcase for the latest innovations in terms of lighting. Hosted within the Ventura Lambrate district, L.E.D. – Lighting Experience Design takes part of Milan’s Fuorisalone as the stage for technology and energy saving.

The event is feature foreign and national brands to emphasize the quality of Italian firms like Reggiani, the international benchmark for the lighting sector, which presents two cutting edge projects, Yori and Splyt.

Yori is a discreet small projector that offers great performance by accommodating the most innovative light sources (RE LED Luce and metal halide lamps) which can be used with the IOS (Interchangeable Optical System) technology to produce high efficiency and a full range of beam widths able to bring effective, accurate lighting and save energy. Made of die-cast aluminium and available in two dimensions (up to 30 Watt power), Yori has been designed for installations on tracks or mounting rails where its particular mechanical/electrical connector can power up to 10 luminaries from a single lighting point.

Splyt is the system of projectors for interiors created in collaboration with leading British Lighting Designers LAPD consultants to meet the specific demand for high performance Wall Washer optics, that are very narrow beams (<6°) and an optic compartment thickness of only 40 mm. Available in two dimensions, up to 32 Watt power, the system allows the installation of the luminaires to be adapted to specific design needs by offering semi-recessed, track-mounted, surface-mounted and wall-mounted systems, with a horizontal orientation reaching 290°, and a vertical up to 90°. The light bundles can be tight, large or asymmetric to perfectly suit any need.

The Reggiani's lighting products, besides being presented, are the protagonists of the installation "Chase the light" whose goal is to create effects of lights and shadows that are very exciting for the visitor.
