In São Paulo Bonina Arquitetura studio designed the renovation and combination of two apartments plus one basement, now linked together by metal boardwalks, sliding windows and stairs leading up to the roof, in a multi space combining a urban and sort of a garden feel. Completed in 2013, the project was a team work by Mauricio Takahashi, Denise Hino, Rosa Fumie Satomi and Ana Paula Nemoto.

The space is an actual combination of different styles featuring white concrete, iron, bricks and gravel, all perfectly mixed together to create the illusion of an outer space instead of an interior.

The central roof can be opened, the bedrooms have sliding windows overlooking the city, there’s even a solarium on the roof, as well as a pool. The space is further enriched by the presence of a huge tree crossing the apartment from bottom to top to add a green feel, as well as an inner garden in the basement, illuminated through a grill system.

A place that looks like a park, where to enjoy freedom without giving up on any comfort.
