An hut roof hiding modern Y House design by ONG&ONG studio in Singapore: this project was aimed at creating a luxury space by mixing Chinese and Asian tradition along with modern furniture. The interior features various glass walls and refined details without giving up on privacy. The house overlooks the hills on the front and the countryside on the back. There’s also a window overlooking the street, wisely hidden by the blinds which allow sunlight to come in without exposing the apartment to the outside. The interior looks neat, with wide spaces and an open ground floor featuring kitchen, living room and studio, all linked to the terrace.
ONG&ONG: combining Feng Shui and modernity
In Singapore East and West blend together
The decoration combines natural colors and elements such as wood with raw elements like concrete. It is further enriched by refined details and Chinese-style pieces of furniture. The upper side features a style combination as well: it consists in the master bedroom connected to the ground floor by a modern staircase. It also features a private terrace with a stunning view. The furniture features wood closets, wavy sofas and classic rugs which result in a pleasant mix that characterizes the entire space. An original project combining comfort and functionality as well as tradition and modernity.
