The Boscolo Aleph Roma is a hotel located right in the center of Rome designed by Adam Tihany, whose work made the European Hotel Design earn the 2003 "best interiors" award.

The entrance of the Aleph Hotel features two caged lion statues leading to a Hades-red room.

Adam D. Tihany provocative project was inspired by Dante’s Divine Comedy: the ground floor is an all-red space featuring a lounge bar,  the Red Library restaurant the Dioniso wine bar which is characterized by a backlit dark mahogany wine cellar. The space also features a particular decoration with red leather chesters; Louis XVI armcharis with zebra prints and varnished red arms; dice-shaped mirrored tables.

The entrance features again two statues representing two Japanese warriors overlooking the Lounge Bar dell’Angelo, whose counter is a light installation featuring a sort of bank vault as alcohol case.

After the Hades, here comes the Paradise: the basement spa. The entrance is a strongbox-like armored door remindind of the bank that was formerly hosted in the building. The Boscolo Spa wellness centre is all about blue hues, heavenly with mosaic tiles pools and white walls and tables.

Last but not least: the Purgatory, on the first floor, featuring 96 rooms whose decoration reminds of Rome’s golden Thrties and Fourties, with black and white XL street photos of Rome by Bram Tihany.

The courtyard features two huge hanging white dices with a backgammon-board-like floor… a little too big to actually play.
