Design is usually related to big cities like New York, however sometimes you can find a design mecca even in an unusual place like Texas, where Thompson Custom Homes studio designed a villa by turning upside down the standards of the area.

Located in Houston yet surrounded by greenery, Wilding Residence features a stone façade and a porch where to relax like it was an actual living room, with striped sofas and a plasma tv. The interior combines country elements such as stone walls, bricks and beams, with classic pieces of furniture like brocade cladded armchairs, white sofas with striped cushions and wallpapers with golden floral decorations. Bedrooms and bathrooms feature several Texas furniture such as bark-looking sinks combined to freestanding marble bathtubs with metal details. A pleasant mix that creates a unique property, turning a ranch into a stylish example.
