It’s probably the less famous Design Week of the world, yet it’s making its way up despite the cultural and politic closure of Russia. Founded four years ago by Alexander Fedotov and organized by Art Trading Group within Artplay creative area, the Moscow Design Week gathers together buyers, architects, designers and design lovers with the aim of becoming one of the main cultural events of the country.

It features many events, such as Top 10, dedicated to the ten most iconic fashion pieces of 2013 signed - among the others - by Max Mara, Fendi, Pucci and Yohji Yamamoto; Design SuperAntiHeroes; Art of Bookshelves, dedicated to bookcases and particularly bookshelves design with the aim of finding the right balance between beauty and practicality.  A multifaceted happening to be exppored thanks to Route by OBJEKT 2013 magazine, headed by Daria Kotelnikova, an out-and-out vademecum describing every event on in the city.
