A brand new project to further enrich the city: that’s Lounge Hostel, the latest work by Valencia-based design and marketing Masquespacio studio. As the name suggests, the building hosts a 236 square meter hostel featuring 11 rooms for guests. Located in Valencia’s Old Town, the facility underwent a unique renovation specifically designed by the studio: original traditional elements, such as vintage tiles and typical plasters, were preserved. In addition, the studio brought in a contemporary touch, to design a cozy, surprising, modern space.

Each room features a different style, recalling the most beloved passions backpackers have, from surf to music. Despite the international feel of the facility, the project is also characterized by a strong local side, with many design items – such as tables and lamps – specifically designed by the studio itself. Moreover, the space features many other local bold pieces of furniture, like armchairs and chairs, that have been selected by the decorators. The final result is a very comfortable space that makes guests feel at home, so that they can relax and fully experience the pleasure of being abroad. Thanks to its eclectic business, that deals both with design and marketing, Masquespacio studio was able to achieve a unique design that fits young travelers’ needs.
