If you love mountain areas but also citylife this might be the perfect place for you. In Gstaad the Ardesia Design studio designed a fully equipped 380 square meters luxury chalet overlooking the mountains. The interior obviously features wood walls made of a particular Austrian wood, whose color clashes with the brighter hue of the parquet floor by Dinesen, made out of 16 meters length strips. The decoration doesn’t feature vivid hues but just relaxing colors such as grey, which charachterizes the living room’s details, as well as the curtains and the bathrooms decoration.

A fireplace warms up the living room whilst the entire space is pervaded by the wood scent. The space also presents an unconventional room arrangement, with the living room on the first floor and the bedrooms scattered between the ground floor and the basement. The interior features many luxury details such as the bed headboards made of Italian cashemere and wool, and a wine cellar taking over the basement room. A relax mecca mixing  tradition and innovation.
