Catalan talent hit Milan on the Fuorisalone stage which hosted several young designers selected by Product Design Madrid jury. The organization, founded by the Colegio Oficial de Arquitectos de Madrid (COAM) is aimed at promoting talented young designers in need of visibility by joining various purely design-oriented shows coordinated by important national and international personalities. Madrid wants to be a design mecca by presenting innovative works, emerging designers and new trends, in order to become an important part of this ever-growing world.

Product Design Madrid reached Milan’s Temporary Museum for New Design with ten selected young designers who displayed their projects at the Superstudio Più pavilion. 25 thousand visitors got the chance to see Bridge by Arthur Analts, Moby Duck and The Stooler by Andreu Carulla, Butakita by Antonio Serrano, Pina by Schneider Colao, O-Lamp by Mimétrica, Meme lamp by Yuri Sviridov, Hombrecillos de neón by María José Gutiérrez, Little Friend by Noviembre Estudio, Jirafa by Raul Lazaro, Paula by ControlMad and DDI2011 by Dodi Diaz. From huge yellow ducks to wood chairs as well as suspension lamps and design tables: ten diversified works embodying the cross-cultural inner soul of Milan’s Design Week.
