A glamorous off-white apartment made of refined materials: KHTB studio has turned a stylish space into an out-and-out artwork. This project took place in London’s Mayfair district with the aim to create a minimal-chic interior more refined than the average total-white contemporary lofts. The original space consisted in two apartments linked by a corridor and divided into several areas by a  stairway. To even out the property, architects have realized a hickory-wood strip recurring in every room, which represents the spine of the apartment. It also warms the interior by pleasantly contrasting walls and flooring. Instead of hiding this breaking element, architects have turned it into the key part of the apartment, linking end-to-end kitchen, bedroom and bathroom, from the dining table to the rollaway bath tub.

An elegant line of demarcation, enriched by the employment of hickory wood, creating a luxurious multifaceted interior. A magnificent location and a refined material: two elements that have turned a regular apartment into a unique space, characterized by a contrasting yet fascinating element.
