Ancient yet modern, International yet Milan-style: that’s architect Luca Bombassei’s apartment, located in Corso Venezia and designed by his own studio. Bombassei is a young professional with a passion for art, photography and Milan’s history. His “Milan-style” apartment features wide spaces and the color white, which recurs on each wall as the main element of the project.

Recovered and new elements are mixed together: ancient oak floor combined with new yet traditional-looking windows and original doors featuring new glass sections. The interior embodies the tradition of Milan home design: since everything is tightly connected to the past, all the modern amenities such as the electronic devices are inserted into rollaway pieces of furniture. Bombassei enjoys a classical environment enriched by his photography collection as well as the polished furniture: tables from the Thirties, a purple armchair by Jacobsen, custom-made tables and other pieces belonging to his previous apartments. A dream-apartment in the heart of Milan, combining classical tradition and modern design.
