One of the main features that make a design object interesting is probably its capability to reflect our taste or even our mood, which means that we always search for something to identify with or that can be customized based on our needs. City and Square lamps make it happen: created by MAN@mydoor, they will be both featured at L.E.D. – Lighting Experience Design, the design week event promoted by Assodel and LedLab in collaboration with TID. The happening – hosted at Milan’s Ventura Lambrate district – will showcase the latest news from the lighting field, and these bold colorful ArtLamps will make no exception.

Inspired by the urban night life, when hundreds of lights liven up the darkness making the skyline come out of the dark, City and Square display several modern characteristics: on the one hand they are entirely disassemblable; on the other, they are eco-friendly as they use low-energy LED lights produced in northern Italy. To best depict city lights and the emotions they raise, these two lamps can be personalized in many ways, from the material – you can choose among iron, steel and corten – to the hue of the product. Just like any contemporary project, these options can be easily picked online, in order to create a unique design item that will turn out personality into light.
