A flexible solution to respond to the needs of contemporary life and offer super flexible living: this is the identity of Inlay, a new sofa designed by English studio Benjamin Hubert for Belgian sofa brand Indera. Launched on the occasion of the last Salone del Mobile Fair in Milan, this design piece can adapt to the users’ needs as it embodies flexibility: Inlay comprises back rest, arm rest and seat modules in various sizes that can be easily configured and re-configured by the user in infinite variations to create a sofa for any occasion.

Modern, flexible and eye-catching, the sofa once again proves Benjamin Hubert’s unique style – in between industrial and formal research – producing contemporary yet evergreen design items. Inlay employs a modernist architectural design language, and an innovative seam detail integrates the die cast aluminium leg and the body of the sofa to create a new aesthetic for this typology.

Targeting both private and not residential spaces, the sofa is shown in Kvadrat Steel cut Trio and available in all Kvadrat textiles and leather upholstery options for either residential or contract specification. The residential edition of the sofa comes with loose cushions, offering an even more flexible solution for the home.
