Design Miami/, the event that brings together the most influential collectors, gallery owners, designers, curators and critics for the celebration of design culture, returns to Miami Beach from 3rd to 8th December. And for its fifteenth edition it will be placed for the first time inside the Pride Park, with its entrance directly in front of the entrance of Art Basel Miami Beach.

"We are thrilled to present this edition of Design Miami/ in the newly completed, 6-acre park, named Pride Park. What once was a parking lot has been transformed into an additional public greenspace next to the Miami Beach Botanical Garden," says Jennifer Roberts, CEO, Design Miami/. "With every edition of the fair, we see the range and quality of the pieces continue to grow. From rare, pieces dating back to the 19thcentury, to mid-century special commissions and contemporary pieces debuting at the fair addressing today’s most important societal concerns, presentations themselves are increasingly innovative and engage with our visitors to provide moments of discovery, furthering global interest in collectible design".

The theme of this edition is "Elements: water", which many galleries have welcomed with enthusiasm through contemporary pieces inspired by this essential decreasing resource.
These include initiatives such as the ROOTS pavilion curated by Ximena Caminos, Swarovski's Waterschool and Nao Tamura's Sunshower installation at the Lexus.
"Elements: water" will also be at the centre of the scene at the Design Forum, with conferences such as Sustainability as the New Business Model presented by Lexus and Whitewall exploring how creative industries and consumers are approaching climate change and the Designing Water Futures panel presented by A/D/O with Alexander Groves, artist and founder of Studio Swine; Vincent Lee, associate director of Arup; and Jane Withers, founder of Jane Withers.
Swarovski will also host a special screening of the Waterschool brand's documentary film and a Waterschool workshop for children of all ages.
33 galleries and 14 Curio presentations from 13 countries, including three galleries that will be present for the first time at Design Miami/: AGO Projects, Erik Thomsen Gallery and Galerie Scene Ouverte.
These are the numbers of an event not to be missed and to mark in agenda!
