Peru, China, Brazil, Canada, Africa, all in one in this interior design project. It happens in Megève, France, where Belgian decorator Lionel Jadot designed a colorful chalet as the result of the renovation of a 1864 hill country which has been turned into a luxury area with a revolutionary feel.

The wide space is divided into two floor, with a living area unconventionally located on the upper floor whilst the bedroom area is on the lower. An alternative choice aimed at fully exploiting the 12-meters-heigth ceiling surrounded by huge windows to create a continuum between interior design and exterior.

This luxury chalet does not feature conventional white sofa or light lamps. Instead, it presents an ethnic feel, with a mix of regular mountain design objects and colorful pieces of furniture from all over the world.

Fur blankets and honey-wood ceiling and flooring are combined to shantung pillows, woven cotton cushions, leather poufs, light blue sofa fringes and the kitchen isle mosaics. The bathrooms are no exception, with concrete floors and washbasins mixed with colorful rugs, décor mirrors and enamelled lamps.

A multicultural interior design place daring to melt the world’s cultures together through the interior design.
