Milan’s design week is sadly over, after a seven-day-event that brought any kind of art and design objects across the city. Some of them were displayed at Nhow Hotel, located in the hottest area of the design week, via Tortona, whose four storeys were completely taken over by design, following a specific theme: Future isNhow. Thanks to the exhibition curated by Art Director Elisabetta Scantamburlo, once again the hotel became one of the landmarks of the design week, hosting meetings, art and events.

On April 13rd the hotel was closed to the public to become the stage of design and contemporary art thanks to the installations by Daniele Basso who took over the second floor where he located his GlocalDesign mirror&steel works. Basso’s exhibition, called “Dark LightsReflections”, combined art, design and craftmanship as well as fashion, looking like undivided worlds.

At Via Tortona 54, the artist also presented MrBotGotTalent in collaboration with SLIDE: for the second year in a row this project joined the Fuorisalone by displaying different light robots reminding of the diversified, multi-racial and multi-cultural society we live in.

Daniele’s next stop will be St Petersborg, so stay tuned.
