When competence meets talent the result is always so stunning that anyone can’t help but notice. That’s what happened to AR Design Studio - based in a Winchester,Hampshire – which last month gained another important award for its quality architecture.

AR Design Studio won the Sunday Times British Home Award, thanks to the 4 Views project.

Located right in Winchester, this house takes over its regular neighborhood with its appealing contemporary look made of dark grey bricks, a flat overhanging roof, cedar cladding and grey aluminium framed windows. But what makes it even more stunning is the “glass factor”, with a breathtaking view on the surrounding nature.

Last but not least, this project – by Andy Ramus and Laura Locke - also featured a strong human side, as the clients wanted 4 Views to be a fresh start in their life after the loss of their daughter. To that end, the work went beyond the simple professional interaction by turning into a genuine friendship between the owners and the whole studio.

A contemporary project with a timeless ingredient: the attention to the clients.
