London Design Festival: the much awaited comeback

September 17th is a special day for England's capital, as it marks the beginning of the new edition of London Design Festival, one of the leading festivals of the whole world. The thirteenth edition is so much more than a regular design week, as it features a very rich programme that will involve a consistent part of the city. Many districts will take part in the festival by hosting its much awaited events, that will be on from September 17 to 25. Olympia London will host 100% Design: launched in 1995, it will offer the public the unique chance to take a look at the production of designers, decorators, retailers and many other professionals. The design products will be arranged into different categories, from Bathroom and Kitchen to Emerging Brands.

The venue will also host LuxuryMade, specifically dedicated to much refined interior design and decorating pieces. Syon Park will be the stage for Decorex International, where many brands from all over the world will showcase their most exclusive luxurious collections to decorate the home. King's Cross will be the setting for the return of the much awaited DesignJunction, whose sixth edition will be featuring the “Immersed in Design” theme, entertaining visitors with many exhibits, installations, workshops and so on. Chelsea Harbour will host the most international happening, Focus/16, where as many as 120 exhibitors from abroad will showcase a selection of over 600 international brands, from renowned names to new ones, to give a sense of the global design field. Finally, the Truman Brewery will be the location of the massive London Design Fair, a three storey space that will feature over 250 independent designers and galleries from 15 countries. The 2016 programme of London Design Festival will also include many other happenings hosted in museums, institutions and so on, proving the unique character of the event and making London the ultimate European design city.
