after being closed for over 10 years this emblematic venue re-opened its doors with a complete new design to once again take its rightful place as the city’s hottest club. the dramatic entrance leads down a series of stairs o the main hall. the focal point of the design is a chandelier made of over 2500 tequila patron bottles each having a custom led pixel in it thus creating a light sculpture over the central bar. to make up for the lack of view faux win- dows were created in which mapped projections show urban landscapes and other themed videos. the volume is made to be divided into a large and small hall, the later being dominated by an M.c. escher inspired feature in the soffit. this division allows the space to offer a more intimate atmosphere when closed, and a full blown club when opened.
