After diving into the paper world in 2012, this year we experimented with cork and recycled leather, exploring and challening its boundaries.
The process of leather recycling involves leftover leather scraps which are collected from furniture and shoe factories and grinded to shreds. Then they are mixed with water and natural rubber and acacia wood bark. The leather pulp is formed in a sheet or roll and mechanically processed for size, color, and texture.
