Gathering people around a stove is reassuring and offers some comfort to people who faced a catastrophe.
The idea is that Vestaïs could be distributed by humanitarian organizations. The stove location would help to share thoughts and ideas between people and get psychological and physical comfort. As such, it is oriented toward conviviality.
Vestaïs is a welcoming wood stove which is run on methane produced by a 7 liter compost bin and wood placed within the bowl. If the compost bin is not used (it takes 24 hours for methanization) to light the fire, it can be replaced by a gas bottle with a universal burner. Vestaïs is a brazier, used for heating. The cross bars hold and dry the wood and can also be used to dry clothes. On its top, a foldable grill can be positioned on the bowl in order to cook food. Heaters placed in the tripod can be removed to warm oneself.
