Drawing inspiration from a bird soaring freely in flight, the architectural wing structure of Sky on the 5th�s LED ceiling design resembles a bird in full flight with its wings extended. The symbolic wings were fashioned from stretched fabric, offering effective insulation whilst at the same time allowing the diffusion of light to illuminate the interior.

Between the stretched fabric is an elongated sky light which gives the impression of an inverted glass �catwalk ceiling� which runs across the full length of the restaurant. This was designed with the objective of creating two different atmospheres, bringing in natural sunlight during the daytime, and offering a moodier ambience in the evening.

The compelling contrast of black and white resulted in an overall modern and chic interior. Through his carefully edited selection of furniture and other embellishments, Leung made the predominantly white interior look spacious, harmonious and minimalist, adding touches of black for depth and sophistication.

The four unique VIP glass chambers in the restaurant are built on a raised platform in order to create a feeling of floating and offer spectacular views of the exterior greenery and the evening sunset. The sleek and modern design of the LED lit tables enhances the overall dining atmosphere by giving the surroundings a warm glow. With no ceiling lights within the chambers, diners can enjoy the view with maximum impact.

The cylindrical buffet counter area features an impressive botanical-themed centerpiece. and the circular passageway overall design does not define a single �space�, the circular passage allows smooth guest flow throughout the restaurant.
