Concrete Desk Set designed by Microstudio

Microstudio presenta la sua linea da ufficio realizzata fondendo tecniche tradizionali e nuove lavorazioni. Forme semplici e lineari che esaltano il gioco di volumi, che strizzano l'occhio all'architettura e che danno origine ad una serie di oggetti dal carattere deciso e che invitano l'utente a toccarli per sentire la matericita' del cemento, del legno e del sughero.
Tutte le casseforme per il getto di cemento sono state realizzate utilizzando macchine a controllo numerico mentre gli inserti in legno sono stati tagliati al laser cosi' da conferire un caratteristico colore nero ai bordi. Successivamente sempre con l'impiego di un taglio laser e' stata realizzata una base con un foglio di sughero che impedisce che il cemento possa graffiare i piani su cui verra' appoggiato. Questa base e' ulteriormente impreziosita dall'incisione al laser del caratteristico logo di Microstudio.
La linea e' composta da: Calendario perpetuo, Orologio, Portapenne, Porta Post It e Porta biglietti da visita.

Microstudio presents its office desk set putting together traditional techniques and new processing. Simple and linear shapes exalt the volumes, that give birth to a series of office objects with a strong feature and invite the user to touch them for feeling the materiality of cement, wood and cork.
Every formwork for the cement spout have been realized using machines withe a numeric control while the wood pieces have been laser cut so to give the charachteristic black color to the edges. Later on, always with the laser cutting it has been realized a base with a cork sheet that prevents the cement to scratch the table where put. This base it is embellished with a laser ingraving of Microstudio logo.
The set is composed of: Calendar, Clock, Pen holder, Post it holder, Business card holder.
