DESCRIPTION

Basematters curates, produces and sells designs in a new way. A new concept that offers new chances for young talents. During the DDW visitors can sign up for the first unique products of the Basematters collection. With designs from Pepe Heykoop, Michael Schoner, Bas Kortmann, Bram Oosterhuis and Daniel White.

In recent years we've seen many design talents that cannot get their designs produced at the regular labels. This has resulted in a large group of talented 'self producing' designers. As design fans we believe that many of these designs deserve to be available for a larger audience. That's why we bring small, in The Netherlands produced, series at reasonable prices.

So we:
1. select talented designers with promising designs that are not being produced elsewhere
2. start producing once a full badge has been sold, so we can produce at reasonable prices. In other words, we crowdfund design.

During the DDW 2013 we will show our first unique design series. Visitors can sing up for our first collection in our stand at Design Perron.
