If you think that a loft is too big to properly suit a painting collection, get ready to change your mind by taking a look at this Cecconi Simone Studio’s project in Yorkville, Toronto. An ambitious idea aimed at turning a suburban apartment into a design cathedral where to give paintings the attention they deserve. The place is sort of an open space featuring several areas such as the living room, the core element of the entire space whose hickory flooring clashes with the white walls. The room is warmed up by an ultra modern double-faced fireplace which also separates the out-and-out living room from a cozier part dedicated to chatting. The open-style kitchen merges together design and hospitality, thanks to many expedients such as the kitchen Island where to dine on with friends and family.

The bedroom is one of the most luxurious parts of the space thanks to its two different bathrooms either in wood or white marble, both featuring soundproof walls to guarantee relaxation and privacy. A place designed to enhance a painting collection without giving up conviviality.
