Forget about old regular bookcases and dusty shelves. Studio Natural, owned by Marco de Santi and Alessandro Paoletti, has presented a revolutionary piece of furniture at the Salone Satellite pavilion of the 2011 Salone del Mobile Fair. This creative agency designs innovative objects and spaces, by committing every work to an ad-hoc-team: in this case they have collaborated with the 4P1B office.

The result of this cooperation is Traliccio, a cutting-edge wood and metal bookcase which will turn your home into an extra light space, perfectly matching other pieces such as lamps, armchairs, rugs and coffee-tables. This original bookcase presents sort of “unmaterialized” shelves made only of their outline. These shelves can hold up books thanks to their sloped arrangement, allowing both vertical and horizontal filling. Traliccio is available in both wall and self-standing variations.
Traliccio is a customizable piece of furniture, combining functionality with a refined appearance, as well as some extras such as metal sheet shelves and bookends, making this bookcase even more adaptable.
