On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of its launch, Paris’ Guerlain boutique undergoes a great renovation to combine luxury and design. Located within Paris’ Champs-Elysées, the store has been redesigned Peter Marino, to add a creative feel to its elegance.

During his life the architect, whose mentor was Andy Warhol, collaborated with many important brands such as Dior, Chanel and Fendi , becoming a luxury master who combines fashion and architecture. Guerlain’s project is no exception, featuring design, art, marble, fashion and fragrances.

The work was aimed at combining together original materials and new design elements. The original marble was enriched with Pietrasanta marble, whilst Diego Giacometti art pieces Jean-Michel Frank plasters have been refurbished and mixed with contemporary art installation specifically created for the store. The result is a pleasant interior where brightness, precious materials such as onyx, Baccarat chandeliers and marble are merged together in a perfect combination enriched by the scent in the air.

A wide space consistent with the former store designed in 1828. A place where any of the five senses is involved, thanks to the new refined restaurant by chef Guy Martin featuring 7 different teas inspired to Guerlain’s fragrances.
