From June 30th to July 23rd, 2017, Forte dei Marmi opens the first edition of Forte Design Week, a great event that was born to create a dialogue between the design world and the tourist resort of Italy, which has always been a flagship to dictate new trends.
An event that wants to be an expression of creativity and excellence of the "Made in Italy" world-wide recognition that can create fresh ideas and young motivation, developing new opportunities for international confrontation and at the same time increasing cultural, social and economic growth of the entire area of Versilia, an area rich in attractions and that enjoys a unique positioning between sea and land.

The event, born from an idea by the artist Daniele Basso and curated by Dr. Francesco Tursini, founder of TID-Theinteriordesign.it, will be developed with a special exhibition at the exclusive location Villa Bertelli Foundation in which will be exhibited works of emerging and known designers who through their own works-art tell their story in the world of furnishings, squeezing an eye to the world of art.
Among the promoters of this event, also the art gallery Il Forte Arte, an historical reference in Forte dei Marmi, which is owned by Dr. Patrizia Grigolini and we can not help but mention it the great media support received from Florence Design Week, the international event dedicated to design in all its forms and art that has just completed its eighth edition.
Forte Design Week is a young but concrete project that gives life and space to new collaborations and creative energies, inspired by the elegant and exclusive beauty of the territory, ready to welcome the excellence of the design world in a unique and exclusive way.
The goal is to create a periodical appointment with a great national and international audience, and able to find a place, during the time, among the main locations in the design industry.
