Caroline Bauer and architect Pier Francesco Galuppini are the minds behind BAAG architecture studio, founded in 2010 with the aim of searching for new forms and technologies, as proved by their previous lamp project presented at the 2013 Design Week in Milan.

On the occasion of the Fuorisalone 2014 the studio came back with two pastel colored interior design items: Corniglia and Dandy

The new creations focused on furniture rather than lighting, with two new tables caught between a rustic and a metropolitan style. Dandy collection features two tall cylindrical tables made out of scented cedar. As an homage to the British elegance, the structure presents a laser-cut metal weave reminding of the traditional shoemakers’ brogue model.

Corniglia tables are inspired to Italian tiny idyllic villages, with a wooden varnished sheet structure topped by two different types of marble to be picked by the buyer.

Like in 2013, BAAG studio presented two versions of the same design object to decorate an interior in an innovative versatile way.
