A two stories apartment for three people: that’s architect Simone Micheli’s home in Florence. Located within a 19th century building, it has been made by employing 90% environmentally-friendly materials, to be turned into a pure-design interior consistent with the pace of city life. The space features optical white clashing with colorful details, creating a fairy atmosphere. The living room features porcelain stoneware flooring by Graniti Fiandre and original raw painted walls clashing with sharp colors: pink sofas and poufs from Quid collection by Adrenalina, and a bookcase designed by Simone Micheli for Axia, featuring lime green shelves.
Colorful details contrast with the all-white characterizing the open-plan varnished kitchen, enriched by techno-leather chairs by Moon L for Presotto and unburdened by the glass surface of the Swing table, whose legs match the bookcase color.

Upstairs, the kids room is not just a place to sleep: the white walls and the varnished wardrobe contrast with yellow chest of drawers, desk and shelves by Axia. Finally, the master bedroom is the only room of the house where the atmosphere turns more romantic, thanks to the employment of the all-white and the presence of a mirror leaning on the wall where a television designed by Micheli for Axia is mounted in. A room where sleeping is not a priority, as the owners say. An interior depicting modern luxury as well as Micheli’s strong personality.
