The historic side of Roost Midtown Hotel is not just related to its location but also to the big change it has brought to the hospitality field. This design hotel, located in the very heart of Philadelphia, is what they call an Apartment Hotel, that is a facility where standard rooms get replaced with refined apartments, dedicated to extended stay travels. Beauty is undoubtedly one of the core features of the project by Morris Adjmi Architects, as the building itself is a landmark of the city: the Roost Midtown is in fact hosted in the 1920’s magnificent Charles S.W. Packard Building. Inside, it features 27 furnished, fully equipped residences, which meld the comfort and convenience of an apartment with the high-end amenities, services and design of a boutique hotel.

This alternative approach to hospitality provides a welcoming, at-home environment and ideal temporary living solution designed to ease a transitional period and encourage immersion to new surroundings. The apartments of this design hotel are characterized by a fresh functional design, featuring spacious layouts with restored ornate vaulted ceilings, herringbone hardwood flooring and large factory-style windows. The decoration is completely signed by important brands and includes a variety of custom pieces, even art ones, as well as the latest technology like Apple TVs and Geneva Bluetooth sound systems. Right outside the door of each apartment of the Roost hotel, a full range of services completes the experience: weekly housekeeping, dog walking, personal training. a24-hour front desk and anything else a modern design hotel could offer. Located nearby the most lively restaurants and venues of Philadelphia, Roost Midtown hotel really feels like home.
