Illustrator, graphic, photographer, but most of all designer: this is young and eclectic Ana Hospitaler, who flew from Spain to Italy to participate in Milan’s latest design week, thanks to her rising talent.
Currently studying a creative design and illustration MA at the Polytechnical Univeristy of Valencia, Ana took part in the DIN competition by Promote Design, one of the hottest events of the 2014 Fuorisalone, staged in Milan’s Lambrate district.

The designer presented PUNXA, a nature-oriented project entirely made out of beech wood. Composed by 4 doors and 2 drawers, this sideboard was first of all designed to contain wine, as the size of the drawers matches the size of a wine bottle. 190 cm long, 67 cm high and 40 cm wide, this sideboard is blocked by its own surrounding structure, which also creates a pleasant contrast thanks to the employment of different materials and colors (green finishings and white surface), as well as emphasize the versatility of this piece of furniture.
PUNXA suits a living room, but also many other spaces, thanks to its simple yet not ordinary look, enriched by the refined shape of its sides. A piece of furniture as fresh as its creator, to bring brightness and chasteness to any interior.
