The design turns into eco-friendly thanks to Brecce , the lamp-sculture collection by the artist Marco Stefanelli presented at this year’s Milan Furniture Fair 2012 show. An ambitious project able to turn natural elements into real furnishings thanks to the craftsmanship to mix together natural materials with LED technology.
The artist gives to tree trunks, branches, firewood, stones and urban furniture a second chance in order to become real exhibition elements eliminating any residual from the raw material, using the resin to cover empty spaces and placing some lights inside: the result is a lamp that reduces energy impact improving light effect.  Not bad, isn’t it?

Little works of art that play with light overcoming the concept of lighting itself to turn into real functional pieces as stools. The best location for these works of art are of course all the gardens and open spaces but even a living room could be considered the right place as well, why not? Marco Stefanelli’s collection combines the love for nature, wood and resin and rises from the desire to draw out  “the light from the substance enlarging the sensory experience”.
