Conceptual work, accurate material employment, uniqueness. These are probably the three main features of the design items by Vittorio Passaro, the Italian designer we proudly host at our Spazio TID, at Via Monte Pordoi 8 in Milano, by exhibiting three of his pieces: Alveo outdoor table, Hethstone beach chair and most of all Memo Library, one of the leading pieces of our upcoming event Fuori di TID! which will be on from April 12 to 17 at our showroom. This design piece, showcased at Ventura Lambrate on the occasion of last year’s design week, is a successful example of how to merge concept and functionality.

Memo Library is more than a shelf system, it is sort of an open chest exposing our memories: serving almost as trays, the shelves host the most meaningful items of our life – like a map of our life - right beside those tools we need in our professional life. In this way the past, that is our history, meets the present, our everyday life, merging together two different spheres or our life, the conceptual and the practical one. Memo Library features a captivating design that is all about openness, with only two wood supports in the centre and a metal grill in the back. Simple yet dramatic, the library is made out of beech wood and iron, it’s 2 meters tall and almost 3 wide, therefore has an imposing yet light look that emphasizes the items on the shelves, leading to a unique identity that brings a bold character to any workplace.
