It just closed its doors but we’re sure it won’t be easily forgotten: the second edition of 2014 Paris Maison&Objet really did hit the mark. From September 5-9, just at the end of summer vacations when another year is going to begin, the French capital was crowded by more than 80.000 design-lovers, eager to find out the latest trends of the decorating field along the 9 pavilions of the Fair, located in Paris Nord Villepinte.

To make the event even more outstanding another successful event came back: the Paris Design Week, which livened up the Ville Lumière until September 13th with 200 soirees and 500 events for 8 days all about this year’s crucial theme: design democratization. But the most stunning figures came from Maison&Objet Fair itself, which hosted 3000 exhibitors, 45% of which representing international brands.

Nothing was missing along the 135.000 sqm of the fair dedicated to any side of design: from crafts to cooking, from interior design to textiles and ethnic styles. As usual, Maison&Objet proved to be more than just an occasion to learn the latest trends: it was in fact a place where to meet the field experts to create an international network among the best professionals.

To that end, the pavilion number 7 hosted the Business Lounge, where operators and experts enjoyed workshops and talks in an exceptional setting: a space designed by Reda Amalou.

Maison&Objet will be back in Paris at the end of January.
