Looking for an interior design with a contemporary feel enhanced by vintage details? Just pick the right fixtures, furniture and upholstery, like Marie Olsson Nylander did in Sweden where she turned a 1970 building into her own open space, with a modern yet vintage warm decoration. All-white walls create a bright space enhanced by bold furniture which doesn’t overwhelm the interior. The space features many vintage pieces combined to shabby chic ones, all sharing a low price, for a low budget yet stunning decoration.
Low cost vintage decoration? Yes you can!
Low-budget stylish solution by Marie Olsson Nylander
Marie Olsson Nylander relied on IKEA and recycled furniture, as the fatigued iron stairway linking the lower and the upper floor, as well as contemporary pieces such as Arco lamp by Achille Castiglioni. The space is further enhanced by other details like leather cladding for the sofa, prints on the pillows and so on. A bright place to feel home at, where every element is balanced, in an harmonious union of colorful pieces, such as the velvet sofa from 1960 and the many-colored paintings.
