Many come to Saint-Tropez for its party spirit. Others prefer the secret refuges hidden from view to experience the authentic Saint-Tropez of yesteryear: the fishing village from the 60s and 70s. Among these refuges, located in a residential area just a five-minute drive from Places des Lices, there is Hotel Lou Pinet, opened in the spring of 2019 and the last hotel passion project of the Maisons Pariente.
A real lost paradise surrounded by a charming garden watched over by two venerable maritime pines (Lou Pinet in Provençal) and through which enchanting winding paths offer an ideal place to stroll. Lose yourself in the discovery of nooks and crannies along the delicate aroma of pine resin that fills the air when the summer sun reaches its peak, while the scents of lavender, orange and lemon, cistus and jasmine come and go with the seasons.

The 34 rooms and suites, set across three Provençal houses, painted light yellow and accented with green wooden shutters, are bathed in light with dual-aspect windows in many of the rooms and bathrooms and provided with a private garden with an outdoor lounge for that at-home or at-a-friend’s feeling. Some are also characterized by a unique décor: here, an elegant hand-made tapestry headboard with colorful abstract motifs; there a bespoke ceramic enamelled Charles Zana lamp that blends in magically. Throughout, you’ll find light hues with the occasional black highlighting, rooms with slightly rounded shapes, natural stone, wrought iron, sophisticated cane effects, linen, wood and a joyful blend of textures and materials for a gentle sunshine ambiance.
Lou Pinet is what can be called, without a doubt, a five-star hotel with a sixth sense in anticipating and guessing desires before they are even expressed. A sense of premium yet very simple service and incredibly warm hospitality, which all helps guests to truly unwind. The freedom to forget everything and let someone else think: all this is what you can dream of in an ideal summer.
