HOMI Milano: an itinerary for every lifestyle

The art of living will be back at the eighth edition of HOMI, from 15 to 18 September 2017 at Fiera Milano, with a new and engaging layout that will make you experience all the aspects of the event.
Even this year, its exhibition concept features areas dedicated to experimentation with a focus on the latest trends and habits: from tableware to decorations, from furniture to fabrics, environmental fragrances, jewellery, accessories, as well as products and ideas designed to improve the lifestyle of the youngsters.
A journey through trends, exploring today’s various cultural dimensions to provide new opportunities for the operators attending the event.
HOMI follows the changing tastes and, even in this edition, it launches new original ideas through its areas, exhibitions, events, and initiatives.

Obviously can not miss an area dedicated to technology that has become an essential part of our everyday living, entering predominantly in our homes and in the objects we use daily: from here, the idea of HOMI Smart, an experimental format organized in collaboration with IDLAB. An opportunity to showcase concrete examples of the increasingly close relationship between design and tecnology, between beauty experienced through objects and shared through social networks that will take visitors on a physical and virtual journey, where they can explore new scenarios and find prototypes, projects, and ideas for those who are always on the move.
Another project, which will be present with its second edition, is HOMI ASIA DESIGN, a space not only commercial but also cultural to better understand the development of Asian design.
An area to promote the works of high-profile designers, artisans and Asian companies and where to host conferences and projects to create relationships with Asia useful to have new opportunities that can stimulate new brands and projects.
A project created by the collaboration between HOMI and SarpiBridge_Oriental Design Week, an association committed to creating a bridge between the East and the West and whose main goal is to be able to become, in a near future, the "Asian Mobile Show", a defence for Asian countries that want to become one of the driving forces of international design.
