The eighth edition of Design Tokyo is ready to welcome visitors from all over Japan, Asia, and the world from July 5th.
Hosted by the Tokyo Big Sight Exhibition Center and organized by Reed Exhibitions Japan Ltd, Design Tokyo is an annual event gathering the latest design products and designers from all over the world, attracting a variety of buyers looking for sophisticated, functional and marketable products and where they will be able to find new suppliers and see what the design and lifestyle industries are ready to propose again.

More than 2640 will be the exhibitors at the fair, exhibitors who were first selected by a jury of experts. Jury that was set up to maintain the high quality of the exhibitions and that this year sees the presence of four famous names in the design industry: Fumio Takashima, president and CEO of BALS Corporation; Michelle Millar Fisher, a member of the curatorial staff at the MoMA in New York; Kazuo Kawasaki, Design Director and Professor Emeritus at the University of Osaka, and the interior designer Tomomi Nagayama.
Do not forget the Design Tokyo Products Award that will be delivered to those design products that are considered the most “marketable”. Prize that in the past years has attracted great attention not only among buyers, but also among the leading magazines, TV shows and industry newspapers.
In addition to this, the exhibition will feature 8 different exhibitions dedicated to the various design objects that can be found on the market: from textiles to fashion accessories, from interior to outdoor products, from decorations to products for children.
Design Tokyo is ready to be also this year the most important event of the Japanese summer that no one can miss.
