Design – in its widest form – is going to be showcased and emphasized as the trait d'union amid present and innovation, as well as between many different crucial subjects such as art, architecture, fashion and so on: this is what will be on in Bogotá from March 1 to 5 on the occasion of the Design Festival. Fresh, young and with a huge potential, the event is one of the latest results of the trend that since 2003 – starting in London – has been leading many cities of the world into organizing design-oriented weeks and festivals.

Just like in 2015, the second edition of Bogotá Design Festival will be aimed at offering a free platform where local and foreign people can get close to design to understand its value as a tool to nourish the cultural, professional and creative side of the city. Each day, from 5 pm to 11 pm, the northern part of the town will feature a wide range of events where people and design will be the only players. After the first successful edition, which dragged the attention of thousands, the festival will be once again addressing the academic community as well as youngsters, families, tourists and design or culture lovers, in a joint effort aimed at making Bogotá a more innovative place.
