Two artists, Isabelle Puech and Benoit Jamin, sharing one passion – fashion – and one dream: to turn a former warehouse upside down to create their own modern lab.
The result is a captivating place featuring former elements such as in view iron and modern interior design objects as well as the couple’s personal belongings. The renovation involved a big space with huge windows overlooking an inner yard which has been turned into sort of a tropical garden with big palm trees and even a goldfish big fish tank.
The couple, owner of ethnic bag brand Jamin Puech, was looking for a cutting-edge place where to live and work, mixing personal belongings, huge bookcases, vintage objects and a main color, black, which takes over both the floor and the XL lamps overlooking the kitchen wood table.
A continuously surprising interior design to hang out with friends in front of the fireplace or at the dining table surrounded by Charles & Ray Eames chairs. A modern yet industrial home enriched by ironical details caught between past and present.
