A piece of design that suits its owner’s life and needs: that’s what happens when design goes beyond mere beauty. That’s the aim of Clab4design, a group of young emerging designers promoted by Umberto Dattola. Based in a studio on the hills around Brescia, it designs and sells pieces of furniture that decor and complete the interior space.
Clab4design is meant to be an out-and-out creative lab where to choose a product and participate actively to its project. Every creation is custom made to suit everyone’s need, budget and taste. Tailored pieces of furniture at an affordable price. Each piece of design is handcrafted and mainly made of wood, the eco-friendly material par excellence, which is molded by using innovative tools to exploit its elasticity.

The keen attention to customers’ needs is also explained by the concept of Human-Compatible, which indicates the urge of creating quality eco-friendly pieces of furniture, something different from the mass production, targeted at people willing to decor their space by adding a personal style. Clab4design joined the 2013 Fuorisalaone, displaying Sgabellox by Alessandro Bazoli, a three-piece stackable stool easy to assemble and be carried, thanks to the shoulder straps attached to each section. Clab4design participated to the Design Week with the installation called EVNI – I sentimenti delle Cose. It also  took part in Milano Makers Bla Bla exhibition, hosted within Arkizoic Bellum space and dedicated to the idea of industrial war, by presenting MACNI (Manufatto Calciante Non Identificato). It is a chair stretching upwards that reminds of the symbolic concept of receiving a kick in the rear end.
If you wish to buy a tailored piece of furniture all you have to do is pay a visit to this interesting studio in the outskirts of Brescia.
