Corian® was one of the main topics at the Design Week in terms of materials, as well of the tech protagonist of Corian 2.0 exhibit, promoted by DuPont in collaboration with Christian Ghion, Créa Diffusion, Gaggenau, Blum, Koledo, Moroso, Powermat Technologies, Power Matters Alliance and Rexa Design.

A great news to display the variety of Corian® employment which suits interior design, contract, yachts and hotels, combining beauty, high efficiency and long-lasting innovative design. Besides being completely moldable, carvable and transformable, this material – invented by DuPont - easily mixes with tiles, steel, wood, granite, glass, to create almost any furnishing.

Corian® versatility met technology within Corian 2.0 exhibit, consisting of three different interiors (kitchen, bathroom and lounge) featuring furniture surfaces with wireless charging, smartphone connection and LED lights. The set of the combination between high-end furniture and technology was Milan’s Vetraio-Opificio in Tortona.

The kitchen, entirely made out of Corian®, was designed by Christian Ghion, in search of a futuristic result caught between a home and a space shuttle, featuring wi-fi technologies, high-end pieces of furniture Gaggenau appliances.

The bathroom, by Rexa Design, mixed the white light wall by Christian Ghion with wood and black, the recurring element of the exhibit.

Dynamism was the key factor of the last room, decorated as a colorful puzzle where to feel away from reality thanks to Blackground bar counter by Créa Diffusion, Powermat technologies and Moroso pieces of furniture.

A winning combination between high end interior design manufacture and technology to create an exhibition beyond time.
