A drink at La Drogheria bar in Turin: that’s all it took to the three designers Francesca Casati, Anita Donna Bianco and Maria Elektra Strachini to found C12. C12 is more than a mere design project: its aim is to represent a match point for those willing to learn and talk about design, an out-and-out meeting place where to attend workshops and lectures. Founded in 2007, it took part in the Salone Satellite during the 2009 Design Week in Milan. 4 years later, on the occasion of the last Salone del Mobile Fair, C12 has come back on the stage to present a project inspired by the concept of time. It has displayed several design pieces that can be interpreted in many ways, such as the Albero table, by Francesca Casati, from 2010. Even though these products have been designed mainly for city squares, they can be employed both in public and private spaces, either outdoor or indoor.

Fantasy is the main element of many other projects presented at the Salone del Mobile Fair, such as Omino Custode, Books are Furniture and App.
Omino custode is a user-adjustable all-purpose pillow available in different sizes and forms.
Books are Furniture” is a furniture collection whose main characteristic is the employment of books as the essential element of each piece.
App is a technological simple movable lamp that fits perfectly each part of a domestic space.
Slouch sofa, by Anita Donna Bianco, embodies C12 philosophy. Designed in 2012, it converts into a rug to allow freedom of movement and suits every need and taste.
