When it comes to opening a new venue, interior design always plays a strong role. Verve Coffee Roasters knows it well: on last September, the Santa Cruz-based company launched a new bar in LA, located in the lovely West Hollywood district. The aim was creating a genuine, authentic, cozy, community-oriented place, reflecting the core values of the company that has been offering the best coffee from all over the world for 7 years already

The interior design of the new bar is by Los Angeles-based Commune studio, launched in 2004: the project features different interesting elements, such as a 10,5 meter long copper bar, white herringbone oak flooring and geometric painted concrete tiles. Each of such features contributes to creating a refined space without distracting the customers from the real protagonists of the bar, that are coffee, juice and delicatessens. To stress the quality of the offer, the interior design project focused on delivering an open and bright space, essential yet social, whose design helps clients feel at home. To further create a cozy atmosphere, the owners chose to decorate the bar with local design pieces, especially ceramics. Overall, the result is a refined yet easy-going place where to relax and socialize.
