Lira collection (Latin name of "groove") consists of small tables, made exclusively with stone bases recovered from Apulian marble sawmills. The idea is to give value to what was "work base" for the creation of other pieces. The stones used are filled with GROOVES and SCRATCHES, a casual result of precise machining cuts, which diamond rotating disks perform to carve other stone elements with precise identity. Lira, on the other hand, is the protagonist of the resulting materials, soles and marked, otherwise they should be thrown. It's a design that re-reads with new identities the basics; scraps that, with their marks, offer more interesting readings than a simple smooth surface.
