Almost two weeks passed since the end of the sixth edition of Design Days Dubai, yet it is still a hot topic among the media. The event , hosted in the capital of the world’s most famous emirate from 14-17 March, proved to be one of the most important happenings in the international design field, as confirmed by the record numbers of both exhibitors and attendees. As always, the leading event of Design Days Dubai – the one and only Fair of Middle East and South Asia exhibiting the very best international collectible design pieces – served two purposes: being the stage for local design (that has been ever growing since the launch of the fair) and representing the meeting point between the world’s cultures, thanks to the many collaborations with different nations that created relevant artistic and cultural results.

Renowned and emerging talents gathered in the new house of Design Days Dubai – hosted in a brand new location within the city’s design district – to find a vivid place where to meet collectors, buyers and professionals. Among seminars, workshops and on-topic events, innovation played a leading role as proved by the Audi Innovation Award, won by designer Sahar Madanat with her One Hand tableware Set project . The prize of 25,000 dollars will help the designer grow her business and projects, proving the ability of Design Days Dubai to bring young talents to success.
